What toothpaste do you roll with?

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Now, I've been home for almost a week now and one thing that always gets on my nerves (well, it's not THAT bad but it is just kinda inconvenient) every time I come back home is that the toothpaste my family uses is VERY different from the one I'm used to using. In fact, the toothpaste they use absolutely sucks.

I'm not too picky on items in general. Like different brands of items, I usually don't have any problem with, especially when it comes to foods. But toothpaste?? That is the ONE thing where we could have issues. The life-long debate has always been Crest vs. Colgate. Of course, there have always been pretenders like Aquafresh and other brands but nobody takes them seriously. I'm a Colgate dude for life! Ever since I was a kid, I used Colgate. The basic kind, Cavity Protection, because I think it was the cheapest available so my family would cop lol.

Anyway, when I left for college, I continued to carry on the Colgate tradition but I started to get into the higher quality Colgate toothpastes. See, Colgate has stepped their game up this decade. When they introduced the Colgate Max Fresh line, it was a wrap. I instantly fell in love with this fresh toothpaste and have been using it ever since!

Seriously, I don't really like to advertise but this toothpaste is legit. If I ever become famous and get paid to do promotional work, sign me up for an ad to promote this !@#$ lol. So obviously, after going everyday, using the same type of toothpaste, I suddenly come home to use whatever wack-a$$ toothpaste they got at home. See, my family doesn't believe in consistency when it comes to toothpaste I guess. They be using like a different kind every time I go back. This time, it was this Crest Pro Health !@#$ in this tiny tube. What the heck man...

Allegedly, this toothpaste has all this new dental technology, that all-in-one whitening, cavity protection, breath freshener !@#$ but honestly, I was brushing for like five minutes and I did not feel anything special. In fact, I was brushing that long and I felt no effects. I didn't feel fresher, I didn't feel protected from cavities, it was a nightmare. Felt like I was brushing my teeth with cake frosting or something :-/ It's bad folks. Remind me to bring my own toothpaste anytime I go anywhere.

Juwanna Mann vol. Boxing Ring??

So strange story out of England...actually, this is pretty much what I do most of the time. I keep up with the big, serious news (like Bill Clinton going to North Korea to free the captured journalists), but I also like to keep it balanced with some odd, slightly more interesting news as well.

Anyway, in England, there's a boxer who wants to get a sex change so he can fight women. Hmm.

Alright, alright...look I've got nothing against him wanting to get the sex change in itself. Do what you want to do, whatever makes you happy. But to get a sex change for the sole purpose of competing against women? What does that tell you?

"I couldn't cut it in the ring against males...I failed as a male boxer. I guess this means one thing - I should become a female and compete in female boxing. Maybe then I'll have a chance. Mom, I'm going to be a star!"

LOL.

Strange stuff I tell ya. Strange world we live in haha.

Two More Days Til the Blog's Birthday!

August 6th marks the 1-year anniversary of this blog!!! I'm excited! To countdown to this wonderful event, I'll be sharing/reviewing some of MY favorite posts over the past year. See, my blog isn't like any ordinary blog. Every entry, every blog is like a work of art. I want this to be an interesting read - something I can look back on years from now and re-read and laugh at the memories.

This entry comes from September 16, 2008, where I was in my Geography class in the UTC, just minding my own business when these two students sitting in front of me began to rudely make out with one another. [Michelle from Full House] How wude [\Michelle from Full House] LOL. I had so much fun with that one...

This one
comes from October 31, 2008. My special Halloween edition. I remember that day. After getting done with my classes that fall, it would be a routine to go stop by the New Student Services office to go hang out with a friend who worked the desk there. We were chilling, talking about Halloween plans and this person in the Dean of Students office goes prancing around wearing this big-headed witch costume. I'm like "Oh !@#$ the heck kinda costume is that??" It was like a life-sized bobble-head doll costume lol. Anyway, this was a GREAT entry by me, reflecting on some Halloween memories. There's definitely more to come in the future because I do have A LOT of Halloween memories haha.

Alright that's all I got today. See ya tomorrow as we continue to reminisce on some of my top blog posts from the year!
