It's cold!!!!

Wow this first week of classes was HEAVY. I've been busy like a bee on steroids. I've been going back and forth between places, had our Orientation Advisor Retreat this weekend, and now am back and still trying to get comfortable with classes.

And it was cold today :-x Actually, I was glad it got cold because I knew it was coming. I woke up this morning and over-dressed for the occasion. It was about 60 degrees at 8 AM but since I knew the cold front was coming, I put on two layers of shirts + a hoody. So I was burning up this morning while hoping that the cold would come and make me not look like a fool for overdressing.

My classes are BORING this semester. My goodness, I don't think I've been this bored in class since high school. Most notably, I got a Computer Science class where we just go in to the lecture two days a week and listen to the professor talk. For a subject that's hands-on like Computer Science, how you expect a student to just sit there, no computer to practice, to learn programming from a teacher writing it on the blackboard? Lol, it's so boring.

And even worse than that is my Maps and Map Interpretation class. Hot damn that is probably the most boring class I have ever taken here, and it's only the third day I've been there. The class is small but it's really a lecture format. The professor gets up there and just goes through his PowerPoint for an hour and 15 minutes. I was STRUGGLING in there. My eyelids were getting heavy, I was trying to move around in my seat to try to resist the sleepiness.

Other than that, I'm just busy with Orientation work. I just can't wait for this weekend to come so I can have time to get things in order. The Super Bowl is this weekend yet it's been the furthest thing from my mind!
