Random thoughts

Good evening. Just taking a break in between reading to chill here at the blog.

This November weather is a little unappreciated. It's not even "cool" outside in the afternoon. I wake up in the morning, put on my hoody cuz it is a little chilly in the morning, but by 11 AM, !@#$ got me burning up :-/

It's almost the holiday season, the semester is almost over, can you believe it? Time goes by fast. I really have to do something this year. Every year, I take the holidays for granted. I never really do anything that memorable to get into the spirit. Honestly, I haven't felt the true joy of the holidays since I was like 15 or 16.

The past couple of years, I've just been taking it lightly or I've been pushing it off, like "I love the holidays. It's a good thing there's still three weeks left." Then two weeks, then one week, then it's over. And I'm left saying "Damn, I can't believe the holidays are over and I didn't do anything special."

So I don't know what I plan to do yet but I just know I have to get that groove back.

My sports teams are making me sad :-( The Cowboys are struggling, the Mavericks suck, the Dallas Stars, I haven't watched a game but it sounds like they suck too. And the Longhorns, we gotta rely on weird !@#$ for them to have a chance at the championship. **Sigh**

Someone school me on Ray LaMontagne. I was just scanning the radio today, heard a song and was feelin' it. So what do I do when I listen to a song that I don't know? Google the lyrics and find out the title and artist! Hence I found out about this guy and he seems pretty legit. Reminds me of James Morrison, who is one of my favorite artists.

I want to get Kung Fu Panda on DVD. In my opinion, it was one of the best movies of the summer. Better than Wall-E. I thought Wall-E was wack, personally. I understood the message it was trying to convey but....ehh
